Lanterra, LLC selected as construction managers for congregation Beth Rambam Temple project
HOUSTON, TEXAS (August 11, 2009) – Lanterra, LLC, a Houston based general construction firm, was awarded a $2.5 million dollar contract for the construction of Congregation Beth Rambam’s new two story Temple. Lanterra, LLC will act as construction managers on the project.
This new 10,700 square foot expansion includes a 138 seat, two-story sanctuary, mezzanine level, elevator systems, and custom interior finishes. Lanterra, LLC conducted all site work, utilities, and a Storm Tech detention system.
Congregation Beth Ramdam, located at 11333 Braesridge Drive, opened in the early 1980s, and has reached its maximum capacity of families. The expansion project will provide the synagogue with enough space for its current congregation as well as provide additional room to accommodate southwest Houston’s growing Orthodox Jewish community.
The Magen Zion expansion project was started in March 2009 and is scheduled to be complete by the summer of 2010.
